Liverpool: Fans delighted with Alisson and Roberto Firmino fitness update

Plenty of Liverpool fans were delighted to hear that Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino are available to play against Leicester City on Sunday.
The Brazilian duo recently took part in crucial World Cup qualifiers, beating both Uruguay and Venezuela as they top their group with an unbeaten record and just two goals conceded.
Firmino got himself on the scoresheet in the first game while Alisson did not feature at all in both games, with Manchester City’s Ederson the preferred option on this occasion.
Watch LFC broke the news on Twitter on the back of Liverpool’s injury crisis that they have on their hands.
Both Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez have been ruled out with long-term knee injuries, leaving just Joel Matip as the club’s only established centre-back.
Will Liverpool sign a defender in January?
Yes

No

With this in mind, supporters were jubilant over the news, which will put them in a much healthier state when they face off with Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes at the weekend.
