Liverpool: Fans discuss a potential start for Diogo Jota against Arsenal

Diogo Jota could be handed his first start for new club Liverpool this evening as the Reds prepare to host Arsenal in the Premier League.
The reigning champions have the chance to put some early daylight between them and title competitors Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a shock 5-2 defeat to Leicester on Sunday, which could give Liverpool an early advantage.
Can Liverpool beat Arsenal this evening?
Yes

No

It has already been reported that Thiago Alcantara and Alisson will not be available for selection this evening due to injury. Now, as discussed on The Athletic’s ‘Red Agenda’ podcast, Jota is in contention for the lineup to face the Gunners.
The Reds will undoubtedly be looking to get revenge after Arsenal snubbed them of the Community Shield last month.
Fans have been discussing the idea of the club’s newest signing starting tonight and what it could mean in terms of formation.
One supporter thinks it will be an ‘easy win’ with Jota alongside the usual front three. Another has said that ‘Klopp wants to destroy Arsenal’, which is why he could be deploying a four-man attack.
Jota had a very decent record in front of goal for Wolves, netting 44 in 131 appearances overall.
