Liverpool: Fans go wild as Twitter change their header to support the Reds

The official Twitter account is sporting a Liverpool-themed banner as their header image to celebrate the club’s Premier League success.
The Reds have been crowned champions of England’s top flight for the first time in 30 years and were finally awarded their trophy last night. Liverpool celebrated their long-awaited victory at Anfield after their thrilling 5-3 win over Chelsea.

They wrapped up the title back in June after their win over Crystal Palace and Manchester City’s defeat to Chelsea. With seven games remaining, Jurgen Klopp’s side set a new record for the quickest time the league has mathematically been won (via ESPN).
Loads of Liverpool fans celebrated long into the night and flocked to LFC’s tweet acknowledging Twitter’s support. One supporter has commented on how ‘gargantuan’ the Merseyside club is whilst another is laughing at ‘the fume’ rivals fanbases must be feeling over the gesture.
