Liverpool: Fans are eager for Harvey Elliott’s first senior goal following recent comments

Harvey Elliott has made a bold promise to Jurgen Klopp and to Liverpool fans after a recent interview.
Speaking to James Pearce in a recent feature for The Athletic (via @AnfieldEdition), the rising star has admitted that the Reds boss isn’t fond of his hairstyle choices. There have been occasions where Klopp has apparently laughed at Elliott’s man-bun during training, which has prompted the teen to make a pact.
Should Harvey Elliott be given more time in the first team?
Definitely

Not yet

The former Fulham player has vowed that he will give his locks the chop once he scores his first professional goal for the club.
Although Elliott was integrated into the senior squad towards the back-end of this season, he missed out on bagging his first goal on the big stage. Now armed with a Premier League winners’ medal, it seems likely that the 17-year-old attacker will be featuring more often in Klopp’s first team.
Loads of Liverpool fans can’t wait for Elliott to fulfil his promise, as it seems they aren’t the biggest fans of his hairstyle either. One supporter has commented “he can’t score soon enough” whilst another has said “play him in the Community Shield, I beg”.

Fingers crossed for a first minute goal in the community shield and they literally get him a trim while celebrating the goal
