Liverpool are getting their fans ready for the upcoming Merseyside derby with a throwback goal from Gary McAllister.
The goal in question came in stoppage time at Goodison Park to snatch all three points for the Reds. With the scoreline at 2-2, it looked like the spoils would be shared between the Merseyside rivals, but McAllister had other ideas as he sent a free-kick straight past Paul Gerrard in the Everton net.
Who has been the most influential Liverpool signing?
Virgil van Dijk
Liverpool have been waiting patiently to continue their unstoppable form in the Premier League and they will face off against their bitter rivals on Sunday. If the Reds can beat Everton, they will be crowned champions against Crystal Palace next week providing they also pick up three points at Anfield.
These Kopites are relishing in the throwback video of Macca and hope to see a repeat of the 3-2 win on Sunday. One fan has tweeted “let’s do it once more” whilst another has branded McAllister’s set piece as “unreal”.
