Liverpool: Fans want to see more of Neco Williams following recent comments

Rising Liverpool star Neco Williams looks set to follow in the footsteps of Trent Alexander-Arnold as he continues to impress.
The 19-year-old has propelled himself into the limelight this season after a solid performance in Liverpool’s youth teams. He was also given great responsibility of engineering the Reds’ backline during their FA Cup run, beating a full-strength Everton team and contributing two assists in their games against Shrewsbury (via Transfermarkt).
Williams has also been included in the senior Premier League matchday squad on seven occasions but didn’t leave the bench. Speaking to the club, he has said that making his top-flight debut would round off a fantastic campaign. If Liverpool mathematically win the title over the next couple of fixtures, there’s every chance that Jurgen Klopp will rest some of the first team and deploy a younger side to give them valuable experience.
Many Reds fans have taken to Twitter to respond to Williams’ comments and plenty are in favour of seeing him grab his first Premier League appearance over the coming weeks. One Kopite has tweeted they are ‘on my knees’ for the club to give a chance to the teenager whilst another thinks ‘Trent is shaking’ as they both play in the same position and Williams could be catching up to him.
Should Neco Williams be given more game time next season?
