Liverpool fans are hugely impressed by rising Reds star Curtis Jones after his performance against Lincoln City.
The Premier League champions fought off their Carabao Cup rivals in a thrilling 7-2 victory at the LNER Stadium. A brace from the young Merseyside local helped guide his team over the line and into the next round.
Should Curtis Jones be a regular starter for Liverpool?
Not only did Jones bag himself two goals, but he made an additional key pass and kept a 92% pass success rate. The teenager also completed 4/5 dribbles, 10/12 duels and made two tackles (via Sofascore).
Fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on the young talent, who could be integrated further into Jurgen Klopp’s title-winning side this season.
After rising through his boyhood club’s academy, the 19-year-old is now valued at £4.5million, according to Transfermarkt.
One supporter has described Jones as ‘the real deal’, whilst another has purred over his ‘masterclass’ against the Imps. One more fan thinks Jones played a ‘phenomenal’ match.
