Liverpool: Fans react as Phillippe Coutinho set to be ostracised by Barcelona

Some Liverpool fans were not impressed with the treatment of former Reds’ favourite Philippe Coutinho at Barcelona.
According to journalist Javi Miguel, the La Liga giants will avoid using the 27-year-old for the rest of the 2020/21 campaign to avoid paying The Reds €5m (£4.3m). This is due to an appearance clause in his contract.
Barcelona have found themselves in major financial trouble due to the pandemic, and their debts are believed to be in the region of €1.2bn (£1bn), which is said to be the main reason why they have made this decision.
Coutinho arrived from Anfield in a deal worth £142m in 2018 but has had a sub-standard spell at the club, scoring just 23 goals in 90 outings.
