Liverpool have confirmed their next round of the Carabao Cup will be against Arsenal at Anfield.
The Reds will welcome the north Londoners to Merseyside on October 1, just three days after they are set to meet in the Premier League. They will be hoping that they can avenge their Community Shield loss to the Gunners earlier this season.
Will Liverpool beat Arsenal in the Carabao Cup?
The two Premier League heavyweights were successful in brushing aside their EFL Cup rivals. Whilst Arsenal beat Leicester with a comfortable 2-0 win, Liverpool put seven past League One side Lincoln City.
A lot of Reds fans are already ready and raring to go as they approach the next round of the competition. After the official club Twitter confirmed the date and time of the match, supporters have flocked to the comments.
One Kopite thinks that ‘Arsenal fans must be fuming’ as they prepare to face each other yet again in a short space of time.
