Many Liverpool fans are raving over the latest injury update on defender Trent Alexander-Arnold and midfielder Naby Keita.
Paul Joyce of The Times shared some brilliant news for Reds fans ahead of their clash with Wolves, tweeting the news that Alexander-Arnold and Keita have both returned to full team training.
When fully fit, Alexander-Arnold is one of the first names on the team sheet. Many fans have been slating the performances of Neco Williams whilst the England international has been injured and therefore his return is great news. Most of the Liverpool fan base are buzzing over the update, with one saying it is ‘excellent news’.
Keita isn’t always in the starting eleven due mainly to injuries of his own, but has shown glimpses of real quality when fit and his return provides a welcome boost at a time when Jurgen Klopp’s squad seems to suffer new injuries every week.
With the very congested fixture list in December, Liverpool need their squad fit so that Klopp can rotate to try and stop more injuries from mounting up.
