Many Liverpool fans applauded young loanee Harvey Elliott after he got himself on the scoresheet once more for Blackburn Rovers.
The 17-year-old scored the opener for Tony Mowbray’s side during their 3-2 defeat at home to Watford on Wednesday as he continues to impress on his loan spell with the Lancashire outfit.
In 23 starts, Elliott has scored five goals and also has nine assists – the joint highest in the Championship with fellow Reds teammate Harry Wilson (Fotmob).
Manager Jurgen Klopp has not been shy to discuss his feelings on the Englishman, previously describing him as as “special player” and a “brilliant boy.”
Will Harvey Elliott be a future Liverpool regular?
Unsurprisingly, supporters rushed to social media to congratulate him on scoring yet again for Blackburn, with some of them excited to see what he can do back in a red shirt next season.
Elliott pleases these Liverpool fans
“He’s gonna be some player. He’s very good now. Sky’s the limit if he keeps his head down and works hard.”
“He deserves a starting place in the main squad.”
“Can’t wait to see him back with the first team next season. Star in the making”
“Cancel his loan and give him no. 10 role”
