Liverpool: Fans react to update on centre-back signings

Liverpool: Fans react to update on centre-back signings - Liverpool News

Many Liverpool fans have been reacting to reports that new signings Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies could miss Sunday’s crunch encounter against Manchester City.

According to the Mirror, they expect Fabinho to partner captain Jordan Henderson at centre-back, if the Brazilian is available, and it could be some weeks until the new signings are ready.

Both Davies and Kabak arrived at Anfield on Deadline Day before the club announced that Joel Matip would be out for the rest of the season with an ankle ligament injury.

Liverpool then fell further behind in their title defence but have the chance to close the gap this weekend, with a huge game on the cards as Pep Guardiola’s side come to Anfield.

Should Ozan Kabak start vs Man City?

With this in mind, supporters questioned Klopp’s judgement and were curious as to why the signings were made in the first place if they aren’t going to be ready to help the manager out of his catastrophic defensive woes.
