Jordan Henderson picked up an injury against Brighton last night and was forced off the pitch in the 80th minute.
The skipper scored Liverpool’s second goal of the evening, which puts him on four for the season so far (via Transfermarkt). His performance helped steer the Reds to another win, which sees them just eight points away from finishing the campaign as centurions.
Can Liverpool reach 100 points this season?
However, some Liverpool fans are worrying over the severity of his injury and are wondering whether he will be available for the remainder of the season. James Pearce has relayed Jurgen Klopp’s comments on the incident, as the manager admitted that he knows “it will not be nothing”.
One supporter has replied to Pearce’s update saying: “If he’d bought Fekir when he was available we wouldn’t be having these problems”. The comment is perhaps a tongue-in-cheek jibe at Liverpool’s failed move for Nabil Fekir back in 2018. The Reds were strongly linked to the French playmaker and, if he would have signed, he could have been providing cover and rotation for key midfield players.

This is why another MIdfield player is needed for strength , you well know that we were lucky this season, we didn’t have many injuries.

So he’s done his ACL. Our best midfielder this season out for a year and we still won’t sign Thiago! I love these owners I really do!

Hopefully he’l be back for Arsenal if not Burnley. The Keita, Hendo and Fabinho midfield is a must see
