Liverpool will reportedly receive a hefty £175million in prize money for winning the 2019/20 Premier League.
The Reds are still celebrating their first top flight title in 30 years and will now pocket a handsome amount of winnings for their excellent run in the league, according to The Times (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom).

Jurgen Klopp’s side set a new bar for future Premier League winners after wrapping up the title in the fastest recorded time. Liverpool were crowned champions with seven games still to play, beating previous record holders Everton, Manchester United and Manchester City, who all won with five matches remaining (via ESPN).
The news on the prize fund has got loads of Liverpool fans discussing what will be done with the money, with many hoping it means that some more transfers will be announced in the coming weeks. One supporter thinks that it’s “a massive boost to the transfer funds”.
