Liverpool: Fans can’t wait to see Thiago in action as line-up vs Lincoln is teased
Liverpool are set to play their first Carabao Cup match of the season as they face Lincoln City this evening.
The Reds are currently on a two-match winning streak after bagging six points from their two Premier League games so far. They will hope to continue their positive form against the League One side, who will also be vying for a win.

David Maddock has teased a possible starting line-up for the reigning Premier League champions and has backed new recruits Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota to start (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom).
Jota is yet to feature for his new club but Thiago has already enjoyed a runout against Chelsea last weekend. If Jurgen Klopp opts to rest Andy Robertson, fellow new signing Kostas Tsimikas could also be in contention for a place in the starting XI.
Lots of Liverpool fans are eager to see Thiago make his first start for the club and have flocked to the comments of the update. One supporter has said they ‘hope this is true’ whilst another thinks the scoreline will be ‘9-0 at least’ with the influence of the two newcomers.
