Jurgen Klopp may be handed a Liverpool blow as the Reds face potentially being without another player for their Premier League clash with West Ham today .

The Lowdown: Injuries mounting?

Having sit out the midweek FA Cup victory at home to Norwich City, Klopp has already been missing a fair few first team stars through fitness concerns and injuries.

Indeed, big name duo Roberto Firmino and Thiago Alcantara sat out the contest due to their groin and hamstring problems respectively.

Klopp confirmed the pair will not feature today either with midfield ace Naby Keita, who didn't take part at Anfield on Wednesday, a doubt to face West Ham.

As more injury news emerges, it appears the Reds could also be without another player.

The Latest: Jones a 'doubt'...

As confirmed by Klopp, and relayed by Liverpool journalist James Pearce of The Athletic, young midfielder Curtis Jones is also a 'doubt' alongside Keita for today's Merseyside encounter.

The 21-year-old featured against Norwich in mid-week but came off at half-time after complaining of some discomfort in the thigh area.

The Verdict: Potential blow for Klopp...

Jones, a tidy option in the centre, could be a sore miss if he is certainly ruled out for Liverpool this afternoon, especially considering they are already short in the middle.

The English ace has averaged a higher pass accuracy (91%) than any of Klopp's first teamers with more than one Premier League start - just summing up his reliability in possession and ability to dictate the play midfield.

He's also the joint-seventh most threatening Liverpool player in terms of shots at goal per 90, averaging the same number as Roberto Firmino (1.3), with pundit Ian Wright having also praised Jones' ability in the past.

The former Arsenal star heralded Liverpool's starlet as an 'unbelievable' find for the Reds and news of his possible absence will be a dampener amid all the other selection issues.
