Liverpool will be hoping to make it two wins out of two against Arsenal as they prepare to host them at Anfield in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.

The Gunners will return to Merseyside to face off against the reigning Premier League champions in a bid to avenge their defeat on Monday.

Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson and Diogo Jota were on target for the Reds to cancel out Alexandre Lacazette's opener. However, with it being the Carabao Cup, it's extremely likely Liverpool will once again completely change up their starting XI.

Transfer Tavern has predicted how they might do just that...

In order to keep the usual front three rested up until Aston Villa on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp may opt to deploy all fringe players up front this evening. Divock Origi will likely be the one to lead the line, with Jota and Xherdan Shaqiri keeping him company on the wings.

Takumi Minamino seems to have found his most comfortable position and could operate just behind Origi to really trouble the Arsenal backline.

With the former Red Bull Salzburg man in attacking midfield, it will leave space for Curtis Jones to return to the starting XI. With Marko Grujic impressing against Lincoln and bagging himself a goal, he too could be handed another start.

According to Caoimhe O'Neill of The Athletic, Kostas Tsimikas won't be available for selection, which could see the ever-reliable James Milner slot into the left-back position.

Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez could also feature to ensure strength across the backline to support Adrian in goal and Neco Williams at right-back.
