Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make more signings this summer as he is content with his current options, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has claimed.

The Lowdown: Productive summer to date

The Reds have brought in three new players in the current transfer window, with Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay all heading to Anfield.

They will further add quality and depth to Liverpool's squad as they look to clinch Premier League title glory in another potential battle with Manchester City.

There is still plenty of time for the Reds to bring in further reinforcements, but it looks as though their business might be done for the time being.

The Latest: No more signings expected

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Sheth claimed that Klopp is happy with the players at his disposal, with no more additions expected before the start of the season.

When asked if the club's focus is now on trimming the current squad rather than adding to it, the Sky Sports reporter said:

"It seems that way, but even with the outgoings, there might not be any more.

"I think Jurgen Klopp is pretty satisfied with the business that they’ve done, and the speed at which they’ve done that business. They’ve effectively got everything sorted ahead of their pre-season, and they’ll just be gelling, I guess."

The Verdict: Is one more needed?

This is an update which is sure to stir some debate within Liverpool's fanbase, with some possibly delighted with the Reds' current options and others surely wanting to see more signings.

It could certainly be argued that one more midfielder coming in would be ideal, considering that some of their current options are either ageing, injury-prone or still developing as players.

Someone like the heavily-linked Matheus Nunes could be ideal, considering that he is 23 and maturing into a formidable player at Sporting Lisbon, but equally, Klopp may feel that his arrival could hinder the progress of Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones.

It feels more likely that Liverpool's business is done for the summer - whether or not that proves to be the correct decision remains to be seen.
