Liverpool are set to face off against Chelsea this evening in their final home match of the season.

The Anfield fixture will be the Reds' penultimate game of a historic 2019/20 season before they round off their astonishing campaign with a trip to St James' Park to face Newcastle on Sunday.

After they have received their guard of honour and played out their match, Liverpool will be presented with their first Premier League trophy. All eyes will be on the champions as they celebrate their first top-flight title in 30 years.

A lot of eyes could also be on one man in particular, who has one last chance to silence his critics. Roberto Firmino will almost definitely feature up front for the Reds and it will be his final chance this season to score a Premier League goal at Anfield.

The £64.8m-valued striker has failed to find the back of the net during any of Liverpool's home games in the league this season. Indeed, Firmino went until March before he scored on home soil this term, which came against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League (via Transfermarkt).

The 28-year-old's goal contribution tally is not one to be dismissed, tallying 11 goals and 12 assists so far this term, although Firmino will likely be eager to register his first Premier League goal at Anfield this season.

He last scored in the league back in January, helping the Reds over the line in a 2-1 win over Wolves. The Brazilian is definitely due a goal and to ripple the net just before getting his hands on the Premier League trophy would be the perfect way to end his unusual drought.
