The club’s official Twitter account posted pictures of the Spain international on the pitches of Melwood after he has been in isolation as he recovered from COVID-19, which he contracted shortly after joining the club for £20m in the summer.
His only appearance for the club so far has been a 45-minute cameo against Chelsea, which left a lasting impression among the Anfield faithful after his dominant performance.
Thiago could not have arrived at Anfield with better momentum behind him. The 29-year-old won the Champions League in his final match with Bayern Munich and won the league every season during his time with the Bundesliga giants (as per TransferMarkt).
Will Thiago start for Liverpool?
Unsurprisingly, the picture showing the midfielder back in action attracted a hugely positive reaction from Liverpool supporters, who still haven’t seen what Thiago can really do due to his limited playing time. Given their responses, it looks like they have a good idea of what to expect from what they’ve seen of him so far.
Thiago is back
Now that’s a beautiful sight I won’t get fed up of seeing.
