According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Celtic have enquired about a loan move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson.
Now, it appears the Bhoys are pursuing a move for the Wales international. They are said to be eager to complete a loan deal, with the Reds’ £15m price-tag out of their range.
It looks as though Wilson has no future at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp. He has made just one appearance so far this campaign for the Premier League champions, with that coming in the League Cup.
There is certainly a talented player in there, with the former Derby County loanee scoring seven goals in 31 league matches for Bournemouth last term despite the Cherries being relegated. He also netted 15 times in the Championship with the Rams, showing he knows where the back of the net is.
Should Harry Wilson be sold rather than loaned?
Whilst the Scottish Premiership may not be the most prestigious league, Celtic have 50 league titles and the fans demand success in that part of the world. The Reds will surely not be best pleased to not receive a fee for him if this deal does go through, but it is at least one less peripheral figure that Klopp will not have to worry about.
