Castaway Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is set for another loan spell away from Anfield after agreeing terms with Union Berlin.
According to Kicker (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), the former Reds No.1 will join fellow Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi at the German outfit.
Who should be Alisson's deputy goalkeeper?
Since his nightmarish performance against Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final, Jurgen Klopp has dropped Karius from his first team plans. The 27-year-old was shipped out on loan to Besiktas, where he also encountered problems.
After having wages withheld from him, both parties agreed to mutually terminate his short-term contract and he returned to Merseyside in the summer.
However, it seems as though there’s still no room for Karius at Liverpool as he looks ready to take on another loan move.
A lot of fans are divided over this update, with many glad to see the £2.8million-valued man leaving, but some tipping him to be a better back-up to Alisson than Adrian.
One supporter has tweeted that this move could be part of plan where Karius is ‘replacing Adrian’ next season, whereas another suggested he is ‘refusing to leave’.

The dude is refusing to leave. I guess his pay check right now is too good. So, he wants to wind down his contract on this lofty deal. Go anywhere out of LFC, he won’t get that deal.
