AC Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on Naby Keita and are interested in bringing him to Italy this summer.
According to Milan Live (relayed via @AnfieldEdition), the Serie A outfit are looking to poach the Guinean from Anfield ahead of next season.
Keita has had a difficult 2019/20 campaign, making just nine Premier League appearances due to recurring injury issues (via Transfermarkt). Because he has been hindered by knocks and strains, Reds fans have been speculating over whether he has a future at Anfield or not.
Should Liverpool keep or sell Naby Keita?
The 25-year-old joined Anfield from RB Leipzig in 2018, after agreeing terms a year earlier worth a club record fee of £48million (via BBC Sport). Since his arrival, he has struggled to get into his groove, scoring just six goals and assisting seven across all competitions (Transfermarkt).
However, a lot of fans are still on his side and want to see him succeed with Liverpool. One supporter has responded to the Milan link saying he’s ‘going nowhere’ whilst another is willing to let him go, but for a high price. They have tweeted ‘€150million and they can have him’ as they clearly view Keita as a promising player and an asset to the team.
