A number of Liverpool supporters are unhappy after the Reds were linked with a move for Hoffenheim midfielder Christoph Baumgartner.

Gini Wijnaldum will swap the Reds for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, bringing an end to a wonderful five-year spell at Anfield.

The Dutchman has been a hugely influential performer for Liverpool, playing a major role in their success under Jurgen Klopp, winning both the Champions League and Premier League.

Wijnaldum's exit means a new midfielder may need to join the Reds in the next few months, ensuring Klopp still has great depth in the middle of the park.

Florian Neuhaus has been continually linked with a move to Merseyside and now Baumgartner has been tipped to head there, too, according to Kicker.

The 21-year-old is currently playing at Euro 2020 with Austria and made 31 Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim last season, scoring six goals and registering three assists.
