Liverpool are said to be interested in 20-year-old forward Evanilson as a back-up to their current front three.
The youngster is currently on loan from third tier Brazilian outfit Tombense. His deal with top flight side Fluminense will end in December next year (via Transfermarkt).
Can Liverpool win the Premier League again this season?
It seems he has been operating as a substitute for the Serie A team, making just six league appearances but managing to score two goals and assist one in that time.
The Daily Mail have reported Liverpool’s interest in Evanilson, who is also on the radars of Manchester City and Crystal Palace (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom). However, despite his Transfermarkt value of a mere £3.6million and his solid goal-to-game ratio, many Liverpool fans aren’t sure they will make the move happen.
Whilst one supporter has lauded Evanilson for being a ‘talented forward’, another fan has said that although he ‘looks class’, the Reds won’t be able to sign him.
Someone else has echoed a similar statement saying they predict Liverpool will ‘always be watching’ but not make any moves.
