Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is nearing a permanent move to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.
James Pearce has reported that the youngster looks set to leave Anfield in a £25m move. The Eagles will also be open to adding a buy-back clause in Brewster’s contract.
Should Liverpool keep or sell Rhian Brewster?
Despite only having Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi as their registered senior strikers, Liverpool have been looking at outgoing options for Brewster. Sheffield United were linked with a loan move for him but it seems now that the club would prefer to cash in on the 20-year-old.
With the addition of shock signing Diogo Jota, Jurgen Klopp may feel as though he is well-stacked up front. The former Wolves man plays predominantly on the left-wing but can also occupy the number nine role as well.
The news from Pearce has divided some of the fanbase, but there are many who are amazed at the deal that sporting director Michael Edwards has seemingly struck. Brewster is yet to make a Premier League appearance and yet the Reds could pocket more than what they paid for Champions League winner Thiago Alcantara.
One supporter has praised Edwards, saying ‘he’s done it again’, whilst another thinks that he ‘deserves a statue’ for his success on the transfer market.

Scenes when Firmino leaves in a couple of years, Brewster rejects a contract renewal at Palace and joins us for free. £25m profit 💰
