Liverpool: Fans respond to interest shown in Harry Wilson - Liverpool Transfer Rumours

Harry Wilson’s time at Liverpool could be about to come to an end as several Premier League clubs have enquired about his services this transfer window.

The Reds have successfully nurtured a lot of young talent over the years and integrated them into the senior squad. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most recent star example to come out of the club’s academy, with the likes of Curtis Jones and Neco Williams also becoming first team regulars.

Should Liverpool keep or sell Harry Wilson?

However, one man who hasn’t had such luck is Wilson, who could be closing his Anfield chapter this year.

According to the Liverpool ECHO (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton have all contacted Liverpool over signing the Welsh playmaker. He has spent the last two-and-a-half seasons on loan, representing Hull, Derby and Bournemouth.

Wilson attracted attention after his season with Derby in the Championship, which saw him score an impressive 15 goals in 40 league appearances (via Transfermarkt).

Plenty of Liverpool fans are discussing this update and the idea of Wilson leaving the club ahead of the new season. One supporter thinks his reported asking price of £20million would be ‘unbelievable business’ if they can offload him for that amount.
