A number of Liverpool supporters have been reacting to a shock rumour linking Raheem Sterling with a shock return to Anfield this summer.

The Reds are expected to be relatively busy in the transfer market in the coming months, as Jurgen Klopp looks to keep his squad fresh.

While wholesale changes aren't expected at Anfield, they are clearly planning to make a few small tweaks and upgrades, with Ibrahima Konate already becoming a Reds player.

Someone who left Liverpool under a cloud in 2015 was Sterling, with the England international pushing through a move to Manchester City under controversial circumstances surrounding his agent.

He has since won three Premier League titles.

According to journalist Alex Miller on Twitter, however, the 26-year-old could make a sensational return to Merseyside this summer, having reportedly ditched his agent, Aidy Ward.

It is described as a "major obstacle removed", in terms of Sterling's relationship with Liverpool improving, although it would surely still be a huge shock if a transfer materialised.
