Thiago Alcantara stood out during Spain's UEFA Nations League match against Germany last night.

The match ended 1-1 after a late goal from Jose Gaya cancelled out Timo Werner's opener for the home side. His close-range goal in the dying seconds of the match was enough to snaffle a point for Spain after a hard-fought draw.

However, some Liverpool fans had their sights set on another part of the match. Twitter fan account @LFCTransferRoom has posted a clip of transfer target Thiago making an audacious long-range pass without even looking.

Despite not playing a direct hand in his country's goal, the midfielder earned a Sofascore rating of 7.6 after completing 93% of his passes and 13/15 accurate long balls. Thiago also won two tackles and was successful in three of his four attempted dribbles, which was the most out of any player in the match (via FotMob).

Keeping a close eye on their main transfer target, loads of Reds fans have flocked to the video to laud praise on the 29-year-old. One supporter has described Thiago as 'superhuman', whilst another said that Liverpool 'need this kind of creativity' in their midfield.
