Liverpool: Fans react to transfer update from Fabrizio Romano

Many Liverpool fans were furious after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the Reds’ stance during this month’s transfer window.
Speaking with Anfield Watch, he confirmed that the Anfield club chose not to sign Arsenal defender Sokratis before he made the move to Olympiakos.
Do you think Liverpool will sign a new centre-back during this January window?
Yes

No

Romano added that manager Jurgen Klopp wants to keep the current team that he has, and insisted that it will continue like this until the end of the season.
This is despite the fact that Liverpool only have one established centre-back available for selection in Joel Matip, and even he has his ongoing fitness issues. First-choice centre-back pairing Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are out with serious knee injuries.
Unsurprisingly, this provided a negative reaction from the supporters and believe that Klopp is making a big “mistake” by not dipping into the market this month.
Fans not impressed with Romano update
“Big mistake by Jurgen for starting the season with 3 senior CBs, he should have replaced Lovren. Jurgen costly mistake is hunting us down and seemingly our downfall on the title race. The club made things worst by not granting Jurgen funds to amend the defensive woes this season.”
“We’re just being stubborn IMO or FSG are being stubborn. Let me put it like that”
“Poor LFC because of FSG”
“Mentality. May we not play Europa.”
“Yet clubs like West Ham and Villa are spending……. where’s all our competition prize money gone?”
“Real reason FSG refuse to pay any more wages”
