Liverpool: Fans discuss Reds’ transfer window business as Tom Hill pens new deal

Liverpool academy graduate Tom Hill has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract.
The Reds announced the news off the back of an exciting season for the 17-year-old, who went from representing the under-18s to making his senior debut back in December. Hill was named as part of a youthful squad to take on Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. Despite their 5-0 loss and exit from the competition, it was valuable first team experience for the teenager.
Would you like to see Liverpool sign Jamal Lewis?
Yes please

No thanks

The midfielder contributed nine goals and one assist across all competitions in 2019/20 and will hope he can continue to push for first team action next season (via Transfermarkt).
Plenty of Liverpool fans have flooded the comments to congratulate the youngster, but a lot are also wondering whether this is the start of a transfer window domino effect.
One supporter thinks it’s the ‘calm before the storm’ in terms of new signings whilst another has tweeted ‘here we go’ as they prepare for what they hope to be a fruitful window of business.
