It looks as though another loan move is on the cards for Rhian Brewster despite impressing during pre-season.
The England youth international has now scored three goals in as many appearances during the Reds’ run of friendly fixtures. However, according to Paul Gorst (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), the current plan is to send the striker out on loan for the second consecutive season.
Should Rhian Brewster be given more first team minutes this season?
Brewster caught the eye of many during his 2019/20 spell with Swansea City. The 20-year-old scored ten goals in 20 Championship appearances for the Welsh side whilst also netting in the play-offs, a seriously impressive tally despite only joining in January.
His run of form has continued into Liverpool’s pre-season and now fans feel as though he deserves his chance in the senior squad. One supporter has replied to the news saying it’s a ‘stupid decision’ to send the £4.8million-valued forward out on loan again and that he is in danger of becoming ‘another Grujic’.
Marko Grujic hasn’t featured for Liverpool since 2018 and has recently returned from his third consecutive loan move (via Transfermarkt).

Stupid decision. Brewster's never going to make the first team now, another Grujic
