Liverpool may have been handed a boost to resurrect their interest in Wolves winger Adama Traore.
The Reds were hopeful of signing the Spaniard earlier this year and they may now have their chance. According to The Mirror (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), the Midlands side are looking to raise funds this summer and are keen to use Traore as a pawn in their transfer game.
Would Adama Traore start for Liverpool?
The report has highlighted that Liverpool and Manchester City as the main parties interested. Wolves are hoping that either club will offer a ‘substantial bid’ to acquire the attacker this summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo reportedly views Daniel Podence as a ready-made replacement for Traore, who will be made available at ‘more than double’ the £18m fee they paid for his services in 2018.
Loads of Liverpool fans have responded to the update on Twitter and are loving the idea of adding the 24-year-old to the Anfield ranks. One supporter has told the club to ‘pay it immediately’ whilst another has said they are ‘on my knees’ for the club to sign Traore.
