Castaway goalkeeper Loris Karius has been informed that he no longer has a future at Liverpool.
The German has spent the last two seasons on loan at Besiktas from the Reds after he was shipped out following his nightmarish performance against Real Madrid in the 2018 Champions League final.
Who is the worst Liverpool goalkeeper?
According to Neil Jones (relayed via @LFCTransferRoom), Karius has now been put on the market in hopes of securing a permanent move away from Anfield. The stopper is no longer part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans, with Alisson, Adrian and Caoimhin Kelleher making up Liverpool’s goalkeepers’ union.
French side Montpellier are reportedly interest in signing Karius, but the German is ‘in no rush’ to make a decision regarding his future.
Regardless of whether or not he leaves in this transfer window, many Liverpool fans are delighted to know that a Karius departure is on the cards. One supporter has replied to the news saying that the ‘writing is on the wall’ regarding his position with the club, whilst another has urged Klopp to ‘get rid’ of the much-maligned figure.

Credit to him for thinking he can earn his way back. But I think the writing is on the wall for him.
