# Liverpool: Fulham favourites to sign Harry Wilson

**Fulham are the current front-runners to sign Harry Wilson from Liverpool this summer, according to reliable Reds correspondent Neil Jones.**

### The Lowdown: Wilson expected to leave Liverpool

The 24-year-old has still only made [two first-team appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/alletore/spieler/279455) for the Reds, being loaned out to the likes of Derby County, Bournemouth and Cardiff City in recent years.

With Jurgen Klopp clearly deeming him surplus to requirements, it could be that Wilson finally leaves Liverpool for good in this summer transfer window.

### The Latest: Fulham emerge as favourites

According to [*Goal*](https://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/fulham-15m-liverpool-winger-wilson/1kaym7funprax137bwsq6uwpsv)‘s Neil Jones, Fulham are the favourites to snap up the [29-time capped](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/profil/spieler/279455) Wales international, with Liverpool demanding £15million for his services.

The Cottagers are looking to bring in guaranteed Championship quality after their relegation from the Premier League and Wilson could fit the bill.

### The Verdict: Time for a permanent exit

Wilson is a talented player who has proven himself at various second-tier sides – he has [scored 29 goals and registered 19 assists](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/alletore/spieler/279455) in 90 Championship matches – but it is time for him to end his Liverpool career.

The Reds are simply at a level that is too high for the winger, with Klopp’s men one of Europe’s best teams and truly top-quality attacking players required in the squad.

Wilson can still forge a good career in his own right, though – Michael Beale once [described](https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/outstanding-praise-rangers-coach-just-19225305) him as ‘outstanding’ – and if he does join Fulham he could be key to their promotion push.
