The trio of Premier League clubs represent just a small portion of those interested in Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia, with *[TalkSport](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-transfer-report-reds-tracking-inter-milan-defender-andrea-ranocchia-151021171374)*[stating the Reds have joined the likes of Newcastle United and Everton in the race for his signature.](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-transfer-report-reds-tracking-inter-milan-defender-andrea-ranocchia-151021171374)

27-year-old Ranocchia is tipped to leave the San Siro in January after seeing his first-team action deplete massively, with Roberto Mancini using the Italian for just 70 minutes of Serie A action so far this season.

Former Manchester City boss Mancini is also targeting further additions in January, as his outfit battle to snatch the Scudetto off last year’s double-winners Juventus, [which is set to push Ranocchia further towards the exit door.](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-transfer-report-reds-tracking-inter-milan-defender-andrea-ranocchia-151021171374)

Jurgen Klopp is keen on the defender as he starts to plot his plans or the January window, his first as Reds boss, with the German looking to make a mark on the Merseyside outfit as quickly as possible.

Liverpool fans at the bar have expressed their desperation to sign a new defender, after becoming unconvinced by the performances of Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho.
