# Liverpool ponder raid on multiple Barcelona men

**Yesterday’s [chatter](https://www.sport-english.com/en/news/barca/liverpool-fear-that-coutinho-will-want-leave-for-barca-5598140) about Philippe Coutinho perhaps heading to Barcelona had the Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern somewhat nervous, such is the magnitude of his importance on Merseyside.**

Having already seen Luis Suarez depart for the *Blaugrana,* the Reds propping up the bar are pretty sick of the sight of the Catalan juggernauts.

However, reports emanating out of Spain suggesting the roles could soon be reversed have given the Mersey locals something to ponder.

According to *[Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol-base/liverpool-quiere-fichar-jugadores-del-filial-del-barcelona-5599113?utm_source=rss-noticias&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=futbol-base),* the Premier League giants have been casting keen eyes over the infamous *La Masia* academy the Spaniards have such strong links to, [reportedly](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol-base/liverpool-quiere-fichar-jugadores-del-filial-del-barcelona-5599113?utm_source=rss-noticias&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=futbol-base) sending scouts to watch some of their burgeoning talents in action.

Scout Kiko Espinar is [understood](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol-base/liverpool-quiere-fichar-jugadores-del-filial-del-barcelona-5599113?utm_source=rss-noticias&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=futbol-base) to have been asked to keep tabs on players such as Marlon, Marc Cardona and Kaptoum, who are all [thought](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/futbol-base/liverpool-quiere-fichar-jugadores-del-filial-del-barcelona-5599113?utm_source=rss-noticias&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=futbol-base) to be impressing in Barca’s developmental sides.

Previously, the likes of Sergi Canos have been spirited away from the La Liga champions in order to join the ranks at Anfield, though he was recently sold to Norwich.
