Jurgen Klopp is keen to add to his attacking contingent next year but [Empoli do not want to sell the 23-year-old in January, though they’re braced for a wealth of offers at the end of the season.](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-set-make-summer-approach-empoli-star-riccardo-saponara-151123175326?)

Saponara has been on fine form this season, scoring four goals and providing nine assists to the struggling Serie A side, and it’s clear he’s set for bigger things with [Italian giants Juventus and Roma both tracking the midfielder.](https://talksport.com/football/liverpool-set-make-summer-approach-empoli-star-riccardo-saponara-151123175326?)

Liverpool will hope to beat both Italian clubs to the player’s signature next summer though and their offer could be aided by potential Champions League football, with a top-four finish the aim for Klopp’s Anfield outfit.
