# Liverpool prepare offer for Manchester United forward this summer

[![Hernandez.jpg](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Hernandez-500x370.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/Hernandez.jpg?admin)Liverpool fans are looking up towards the bar here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they see our landlord showing around [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2015/04/09/liverpool-ready-transfer-of-man-uniteds-javier-hernandez-5141103/), who seem to think that Javier Hernandez could well be on his way to Anfield this summer.

Now as one of our punters notes over a beer and burger at the bar, we think that would go down like a lead balloon with Manchester United fans, who despite knowing that Hernandez is not really going to make it at the club, have always liked him as a player and had plenty of time for him.

We do not think it is ever a good idea to see players from Manchester United go to Liverpool – or vice versa – yet with Real Madrid ready to return the Mexican to Old Trafford and United seeing no future for him, stranger things have happened.

### Liverpool fans. Would you love to land Manchester United forward Hernandez? Let us know your thoughts below.
