# Liverpool: Fans want to sign Ousmane Dembele

**Liverpool want to sign Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona after it was reported the Reds are potentially interested in signing the 24-year-old on a free transfer.**

Dembele made the move to the Camp Nou from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a fee of over £100m ([BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41075084)) after providing 22 assists in 50 games for German outfit ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ousmane-dembele/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/288230)).

However, although he has managed [30](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ousmane-dembele/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/288230) goals in 118 games in Spain, a succession of injuries and questions over his attitude mean he has not lived up to expectations.

According to Mundo Deportivo ([via FourFourTwo](https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/liverpool-transfer-news-reds-prepare-bid-to-sign-barcelonas-ousmane-dembele-on-free-transfer)), Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the winger, and Dembele’s agent has even approached the six-time European champions to see if they would like to sign him.
