# Liverpool: Reds interested in signing Ismaila Sarr

**Liverpool are interested in signing Watford winger Ismaila Sarr according to Spanish reports (via [Sport Witness](https://sportwitness.co.uk/one-klopp-likes-liverpool-cheaper-signing-idea-great-move/)).**

### The lowdown: Long-standing admirers

Following a stunning brace against the Reds in their title-winning season, Liverpool were [heavily linked](https://metro.co.uk/2020/09/23/why-liverpool-signed-diogo-jota-instead-of-ismaila-sarr-after-transfer-talks-with-watford-13316349/) with a move for the 24-year-old ace back in 2020 before signing Diogo Jota from Wolves.
