[*The Daily Mirror* states that Barcelona prospect Martin Montoya could have his loan spell at Inter Milan ended early](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-news-transfer-rumours-real-6925009), which would then make the defender available for another loan move until the end of the season.

24-year-old Montoya has not proved useful to Roberto Mancini, failing to make a single Serie A appearance for the title chasers this season, and has endured a difficult time in Italy.
