‘Kloppmania’ shows no signs of slowing down and the German revolution at Anfield is seemingly well underway.

Into the Europa League final, 90 minutes away from both another European trophy and Champions League football, things really are on the up for the club.

It is a far cry from the Brendan Rodgers reign that kicked the campaign off what seems like an age ago.

While Klopp is readily improving what players he inherited from the Northern Irishmen, our punters who pledge fealty to King Klopp have been handed a further boost in terms of transfers.

Liverpool have opened talks with Roma in regards to a potential deal that would see German defender Antonio Rudiger arrive at Anfield this summer, according to Italian website *[Calciomercato.web](https://www.calciomercatoweb.it/2016/05/08/calciomercato-roma-esclusivo-liverpool-non-molla-rudiger/).*

The former Stuttgart man has been [linked](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/7050956/Chelsea-transfer-news-Antonio-Conte-to-persuade-Roman-Abramovich-and-meet-Gonzalo-Higuains-75million-release-clause.html?CMP=spklr-_-Editorial-_-TWITTER-_-TheSunFootball-_-20160405-_-Football-_-418075110-_-Imageandlink) with a move to Chelsea after establishing himself as a resolute defender in the Italian capital this season.

Though he is currently on loan from the Bundesliga outfit, Roma have an option to buy him for around €9m at the end of the campaign.

However it is [claimed](https://www.calciomercatoweb.it/2016/05/08/calciomercato-roma-esclusivo-liverpool-non-molla-rudiger/) that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, who will know the German international well from his own time in the Bundesliga, has enquired about a [£15m](https://www.calciomercatoweb.it/2016/05/08/calciomercato-roma-esclusivo-liverpool-non-molla-rudiger/) deal.

Defensive frailty has been a sewing motif for the Anfield giants over the past two seasons or so and Klopp is believed to be looking for more solid reinforcements.

Joel Matip has already agreed a deal that will see him move to Merseyside from Schalke upon the expiration of his deal in Germany.

**Would Rudiger fit in better at either Liverpool or Chelsea?**
