# Liverpool star keen on Barcelona transfer

[![coutinhooo](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/coutinhooo-500x342.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/coutinhooo.jpg?admin)Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have endured a rocky few days, with the draw in the Merseyside derby followed by Brendan Rodgers dismissal, and things appear to have taken a turn for the worst.

Fans have been fearing as to what will happen with Philippe Coutinho at the end of the season- and Spanish publication *Sport* claim it won’t be good news for the Reds, [indicating the Brazilian is keen to sign for Barcelona.](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/coutinho-quiere-venir-barca-4564846)

[*The Daily Express* adds to this by revealing Coutinho’s agents have a very good relationship with the Catalan giants](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/610121/Liverpool-Philippe-Coutinho-Barcelona-Jurgen-Klopp), whilst Barcelona boast many of his compatriots including close-friend Neymar and Dani Alves.

It’s claimed the[move would cost Barcelona around £22m](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/610121/Liverpool-Philippe-Coutinho-Barcelona-Jurgen-Klopp), which would provide another blow to Liverpool and their supporters as they rate the South American very highly.

Our regulars aren’t very confident that Liverpool can fend-off the interest of one of Europe’s super-clubs and feel that it’s a case of when, not if, Coutinho leaves.
