### The Verdict: Fully deserved

Bajcetic being offered a new deal at Liverpool seems fully deserved, given the positive impression he’s made in the club’s youth squad.

The Spaniard was naturally a centre-back but managed to score two goals and provide one assist in just nine games for the Reds U18s, via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/stefan-bajcetic/leistungsdaten/spieler/864799/plus/0?saison=2021), and has since progressed into playing more of a number six role in the middle of the park.
