# Liverpool: Supporters call for Pochettino for when Jurgen Klopp leaves Anfield

**Liverpool fans will not want to think of a day when Jurgen Klopp leaves the club. In the German’s near four-year stint with the club, he’s yet to lose a two-legged European tie and has won the Champions League, yet the fans are looking at who could replace him.**

> When he eventually leaves Liverpool, who would you like to replace Jurgen Klopp?

The German doesn’t look like he’ll be walking away anytime soon, but one day Anfield will have to welcome a new manager, and the fans have been having their say. Inevitably, Steven Gerrard’s name keeps coming up, but a lot of Liverpool fans are also calling for Mauricio Pochettino.

The Argentine has done a great job at Tottenham, bringing the Lilywhites to the top of English football as one of the leading clubs, and his pressing game and fluid attacking football have it’s similarities to Jurgen Klopp’s style, making him one who the Reds would love.

You can read the Reds’ calls for Poch is Klopp leaves here:

> Gerrard? I’d love him to manage LFC but I don’t trust him enough to be our manager yet. Pochettino would be more sensible for me.

> Mad Gerrard is leading this not Pochettino, we need the best manager not the biggest name, and I don’t buy ex players automatically make the best coaches, look at Klopps playing career for example

> Although if he left now, Pochettino all day long. Gerrard not ready yet, in my humble opinion

> ..Stevie has to really do something of substance at Rangers before that time – he would be the obvious and emotional choice…but Poch ain’t a bad shout either.

The Kopites, from the tweets above, seem to love the idea of Pochettino replacing Klopp one day, but for now, the German is the one for them.
