# Liverpool: These fans don’t think Harry Wilson will get his chance at Anfield

**Harry Wilson continued his fine start to his spell [on loan at Bournemouth from Liverpool](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49249224) with [another goal in their 3-1 win at Southampton on Friday night](https://www.skysports.com/football/soton-vs-bmouth/report/408039).**

His first half goal at St Mary’s was the [third he has scored in five Premier League appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdaten/spieler/279455) for the Cherries, with Liverpool fan [@SamuelLFC](https://twitter.com/SamueILFC/status/1175146640258322432) on Twitter believing that the Anfield club’s decision to give him Premier League loan experience has been a smart one.

> Brilliant decision loaning Harry Wilson out, giving him a full season to shine in the PL and let him fully develop for us next season. 3 goals in 5 PL appearances for him so far and will only get better this season.

The [22-year-old Wales forward](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/profil/spieler/279455) had [never played in the English top flight before this season](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455/wettbewerb/GB1) but caught the eye in the Championship [for Derby on loan](https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2018/07/wilson-determined-to-perfect-lampards-method) in 2018/19, with [18 goals in 49 games](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455) as the Rams [reached the play-off final](https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/48331145).

However, despite [featuring in pre-season for Liverpool](https://www.thisisanfield.com/2019/08/rhian-brewster-harry-wilson-catch-the-eye-liverpool-fcs-2019-pre-season-in-numbers/) and [scoring a superb goal against Lyon](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/live/liverpool-vs-lyon-live-stream-score-goal-updates-where-watch-kick-off-time-line-ups-team-news-a9029846.html), Wilson has so far been unable to forge his way into the first team reckoning at his parent club, with just [one senior competitive appearance for the Reds](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/harry-wilson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/279455/verein/31).

These Liverpool fans on Twitter are not confident that Wilson will ever get his chance at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp:

> He is great but I still think he might be sold
