# Lose Zinchenko, Jorginho chooses Chelsea: Man City’s nightmare scenario before season starts

**Manchester City supporters are expecting nothing less than a repeat of the last campaign, with a strong summer transfer window putting them in a promising position.**

The Citizens were dominant in the last campaign as they brushed aside any competition on their way to securing the Premier League title, and looked promising in the Champions League.

Indeed, with just a few weeks left until the start of the new campaign, supporters are concerned that Pep Guardiola has left it too late to complete any more serious business.

Worryingly, some of City’s biggest rivals are looking to spend big this summer and could gain the upper-hand on them as the new campaign edges closer, so things definitely need to improve.

With that being said, here’s **TWO** things that could force a poor title defence…\
\
Manchester City [received a £16 million bid from Wolverhampton Wanderers for the Ukrainian, and Newcastle United are also believed to be in the race.](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/715257/Wolves-news-Nuno-Espirito-Santo-new-contract-latest)

The 21-year-old is arguably one of the most promising players in the whole of English football, so losing him to a lower ranked Premier League side could come back to bite them.

Chelsea are [reportedly](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/986041/Chelsea-Transfer-News-Blues-Offer-Man-City-Jorginho) looking to swoop in for long-term Manchester City target Jorginho.

The central midfielder has established himself as one of the most impressive midfielders in the whole of world football, so he would be the perfect replacement for Yaya Toure.

Sadly, losing out in the race for the Brazilian could condemn Manchester City’s chances of securing the Premier League title in the next campaign, having wasted so much time in trying to sign the Napoli midfielder.
