[Cited by *TalkSport,* *RaiSport* state](https://talksport.com/football/inter-milan-enter-race-man-city-and-man-united-target-fabinho-150928168228) that Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini wants to bring 21-year-old Brazilian full-back Fabinho to the San Siro; where he would join former team-mate Geoffrey Kondogbia, who signed for the Serie A leaders in the summer.

Earlier this summer it was stated [Manchester United were keen to sign the £20m-rated defender](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3128277/Manchester-United-eyeing-Monaco-Fabinho-pay-20million.html), whilst reports in France stated around the same time that City were in talks to bring the Brazilian to the Etihad [before a £15m move collapsed.](https://talksport.com/football/monaco-defender-fabinhos-move-manchester-city-collapses-150723159248)

Louis Van Gaal requires a full-back addition due to a lack of numbers on the left-side of defence, with Luke Shaw sidelined for months with a broken leg whilst his cover, Marcos Rojo, also recently picked up an issue.

Inter Milan have been away from the European eye for a while as they battled with financial troubles and fell down the Serie A table but have returned to greatness this season, currently joint-top of the table alongside Fiorentina.
