# Man City: Fans flock to Cristiano Ronaldo update

**Manchester City fans are livid as it was revealed the Citizens will not pay the €25m (£21.4m) Juventus are looking for to part ways with Cristiano Ronaldo.**

The Citizens are looking to bring in a new striker as they remain short in that area – as it stands, they only have Gabriel Jesus as a senior centre-forward – but they are running out of time before the end of the transfer window. Harry Kane had been a top target, but he has [now decided to stay at Tottenham Hotspur instead](https://twitter.com/HKane/status/1430496495225262084).

Ronaldo is currently in Italy with Juve, but it seems he could be on the move this summer. [According to Fabrizio Romano](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1430282178089431046), the Portuguese star’s agent Jorge Mendes offered the player to the Citizens, but Juventus want €25m (£21.4m), a fee which City have no intention of paying.

The news was [shared on Twitter by @City\_Xtra](https://twitter.com/City_Xtra/status/1430282567903858700), and it attracted plenty of attention from the supporters. They took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
